We might not like to hear it, we might want even less to admit it, but the simple truth of the matter is that bullying is a popular and common theme in the world that we live in today. Of course, when most people hear bullying, the first thing that springs to mind is the emotional and sometimes physical torment that kids go through at school.

While that is without a doubt one of the most popular forms of this vice, it isn’t by any means at all relegated to kids or young adults going through puberty. Bullying online is also there and presents itself to be a quite formidable foe as the number of people who continue to commit suicide due to this alone is significantly staggering.

However, one place that bullying can reign supreme yet go somewhat unnoticed is in the family. Yes, bullying happens a lot in many families.

The one reason why most people won’t know or believe this sad truth is that the signs and symptoms it presents in this particular environment are more subtle but infinitely more toxic.

Even though this is a tough situation, it is important that you don’t let it mislead you. Stay respectful and don’t let their poor actions compel you to change toward the rest of your family.
